we have decided that Molly should get Bart's and mine undivided attention once a month on a daddy, mommy daughter date...my dad was able to get us free tickets to Princess Disney on Ice...it was as if she was in a trance, B art would try and talk to her and she wouldn't take her eyes off the ice...it was a fun night..one I hope she remembers!

Halloween pictures and Bart's family reunion....

potty update...

so far so good...no accidents..no binky's thrown in trash...

binky's or diapers...

So in order to get Molly potty trained we have come up with the idea that she can either have her binky's or her diapers...we have been talking about it with her for awhile and I decided today that she understands the consequences....so I put some panties on her tonight and kept reminding her that if she didn't use the potty she would have to throw her binky that was in her mouth away...so we were playing toys and she crossed her legs and looked at me..I said lets hurry...but she wouldn't go..so we continued playing and sure enough she had an accident...she looked at me and I told her she had to go throw her binky away..the look on her face and watching her walk to the bathroom and throw it in the trash broke my heart...the binky's are her world..I started to cry..maybe this isn't a good idea...we changed out panties and I brought the toilet into her room and she sat on it right away and finished going potty..I was so excited for her..she ran to the bathroom and got her binky out of the trash...ok..maybe it might work..but it was still such a sad look on her face...I hate feeling so guilty sometimes...

I was making this noise with my mouth the other day and everytime that i did buddy's eyes would open wide..he had no idea what was going on....so funny to tease...

Kevin...

In memory of Cooter...Molly loved when Cooter would chase her, Bart brought home this rubber chicken the other day and when he squeezed it Molly said "hey, it's Kevin.." (from the bird on UP) it was so funny..she is so smart...but Cooter didn't want to share and chased her and pinned her up against the fence...so funny..but so sad now that Cooter is gone...

Last black friday my sister and I went to Walmart and I got a Flip camcorder..I have tons of videos but have never posted them...so her are a couple...this video was last year about this time..Molly looks so little to me...

Studio Posh Tots...

We were able to finally get buddies newborn pictures done today...I am so excited to get them back...I had a friend come to the hospital and take some pictures when he was two days old and will post soon..but wanted to get some done with Molly and with Bart in his turnouts...I am super excited to see and can't wait...she was the absolute cutest girl..very friendly...she made me feel really relaxed and felt at home in her cute studio..she didn't rush us..I actually was the one to say I think we were done...she is offering an awesome Christmas special for this upcoming Saturday the 21st...check out her website here...

oh my gosh..

I am a firm believer in manners...Bart and I decided that when Molly was a baby that we would always say please..thanks you..excuse me...and so on..to her so in return she would learn and start to repeat us...I am pleased to say that our scheme has worked and worked well...she is so polite. Along with being so polite Molly has added "Oh my gosh.." to everything..."Oh my gosh, thank you Mommy..." Bart usually will bring Molly home a surprise when he leaves or comes home from work...it's the best to see him pull something out of his bag for her.."Oh my gosh, thanks dad!" Like I have said before..yummy..

mommy mermaid..

Molly is obsessed with the Disney Princesses...each week she loves one more than the other but this particular week she loved Aerial...we were getting ready to take a nap and I changed the channel from cartoons and ended up on a movie that was starting...it was a picture of the ocean and as it scanned down the ocean it showed a mermaid carrying a baby..I thought to myself..oh great I'm not going to get her away from the tv now...as I picked her up Molly said..."Mommy..look it's a mommy mermaid!" Seriously..she is so yummy...

bear bear...sneak..it

Two weeks ago Kitty Kae was over at our house..lately the girls play better apart rather than together..Kitty was playing with the Weeble Wobbles..and Molly was watching The Wiggles...Kiersten came to pick Kitty up and she walked out of the house with something under her shirt..possibly a weeble horse?....just the other night in the car the conversation went as so...

Molly: mommy...bear bear take..
Me: what did she take?
Molly: bear bear take...she take my horse
Me: she did?
Molly: yeah..she sneak it..(Molly pointing to under her shirt..)
Me: we'll..we will get it back..

First thing first is how does my two year old know what sneak means? Kitty has been sick but we were able to go over the other night and grab the horsey that was sneaked two weeks ago...

pumpkins...

We snuck out of the house the other night to go to the pumpkin patch and pick some pumpkins...we grabbed two little ones..Molly got a ride and a quick family picture and it was back home...Happy Halloween!

hold it..

Molly loves her little brother and wants to "hold it" all the time...I don't dare go to far because at the drop of a hat she is done and will say "momma you hold it"...or if she is holding him and there is someone here visiting she will say "momma put baby in swing"...that way the visitor won't hold him...she is so squishy...and so is Camden...

bubba...

Camden is doing so good! We had our two week appointment this last Wednesday..he weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long..he had to have his circumcision done and that's not fun but as the days go by it looks better and better. Molly is doing a lot better with letting people touch him and not ripping the blanket off of him to "hold it"...Camden looks just like me in my baby pictures but has a lot of Molly in him too...Bart went back on shift and it was the longest 48 hours of my life...only because I like having him around...even if he is not in eye sight I know he is there if I need him...we have already grown out of one outfit and are well on our way to be out of the newborn pile...thanks to everyone that has come to visit and especially for the yummy dinners...thank you treats are being made as we speak..we'll type...

Camden Quinn

Here are some cute pictures of our new edition to our family. Bart and I were admitted to the hospital Wednesday around 8:30am...my doctor broke my water around 12:00pm...and we had our cute little buddy at 3:57pm...it was a great experience..alot easier than with Molly (maybe because I knew what was going to happen this time..) he weighed 8lbs. and was 20 inches long..Molly was a little confused but is doing so well...she has a hard time letting people hold him and touch me..(we'll truth be told me too...) but were talking about how it's ok to let people hold him and that their not going to take him...I am not sure if anyone else feels like this after having a baby (blame it on the hormones)...but I am very overwhelmed and very protective...I love visitors and if no one came I would be sad but at the same time I want him and my little family all to myself...I cried the entire night last night...good thing my mom was here to just hug me..Bart cleaned the house a couple times..he doesn't know how to handle that so he cleans...he told me last night he feels like he is in trouble..all I could say is sorry babe this really isn't about you...enjoy..
