First Official Day...

Molly started pre-school this September and it is the best thing ever! I love that it is so close to our house and I LOVE teacher Grandma and teacher Heather...they are the best. Molly knows the National Anthem..her ABC's...so many songs...and on a good day can count to thirty! I am so proud of her...I love to see the art projects come home..the field trips...and to listen to her tell me how her day was. Molly has started this new thing..she will start to tell you a story and then finish by saying da..da..da...it's funny now but when she is a teenager and finished off telling Bart and I about a date with yadi yada...I'm going to be a little worried.

Four Years...

Four years married this year September 9, 2007...it's hard to believe that Bart and I have started this long journey over ten years ago. I love my husband..I love the father of my children and best of all I love my BEST FRIEND...to another amazing ten plus years together!!

double yolk..

The garden was plentiful this year! It grew out of control...but was sure yummy! We started get some farm fresh eggs later in the summer..we started with 2-3 a day and by the end of the summer about 6-7....we were eating eggs every morning...giving them away to whom would take them. One day Bart came in from collecting them and we ended up with the biggest egg I had ever seen..cracked it open and sure enough it was a double yolk...always something new to learn here on the farm! My sister was able to can the tomaotes for me..made chili sauce..and yummy salsa..sad to say that it's all almost gone!

Cove Fort Days

We were able to spend the weekend down with Bart's parents for Cove Fort Days..Bart and I were able to volunteer our time as the medical staff...we had just bought the trailer..it was fun to take it down and use it for the first time. Camden like Molly loves his bed and doesn't like to fall asleep anywhere else but it..so needless to say bedtime was a struggle but it was fun to camp with my family! We took our bikes down and rode all around Cove Fort. Luckily nothing happened that needed our medical attention. I was riding my bike and almost ran over this wormish looking thing. So I took Molly back there and we played with it all day..we kept it in a tupperware container but at the end of the day we decided to let it go! Our friends Chris and Wendy were able to drive down for the day...there was a bee keeper at Cove Fort...it was so intresting to me I am thinking and researching about getting some hives next summer..stay tuned for home made honey..

Green Binky..

The infamous green binky is no longer...I am a believer in talking to my kids before we do anything major for two months or so...the first month we bring the idea up and talk about..the second month we constantly remind them...so hopefully in the end it happens as smoothly as possible. So I started talking to Molly about how the doctor told us at our three year check up it was time to get rid of the binky...and I reminded her that babies need binky's more than big girls...we would put them up high when she would wake up and see how long it would take her to ask for one...then one sad day I got a text at work that said...Molly threw her binky's away!...I called home to see what happened and Molly had told Bart that she was to big for binky's and handed them over. So Bart had her throw them away...he kept them in his top drawer in case she wanted to re-nig on the situation but has never asked for them again. It broke my heart that she did it while I was as at work but I am so proud of her for making the decision...I'm more so happy that we don't have to deal with them anymore....

wAlKiNg...

I can't believe how quickly Camden began walking this year..10 months! Molly didn't even show intrest in walking until 15 months...he has so much energy I can't keep up with him and somedays I don't want to...so if you come to my house and it looks like a tornado hit..we will blaim Camden..anything at his level has been torn apart..broke..or he has a goose egg on his head from hitting it...he is all boy!

Fourth and Twenty-Fourth

I have been so bad at keeping up with my blog. I thought after school was over I would have more time to do the important things but it seems like I am busier...or lazy!! So here I go trying to track the last half of 2010 before it is over! For the fourth we went to Bluffdale Town Days, we watched dad drive the fire truck in the parade...caught all the candy...and played at town days. This is my favorite time of year...parades and rodeos..Bart and I before we were married spent alot of time together this time of year. For the 24th we had our best friends Chris, Wendy and baby Cj come over for some fire works,bbq and SMORES...it was a little chilly but a good night!

RRrrrr...

My brother and his family were able to come into town for Molly's birthday party..they stayed with us..it was so fun to have them here. My little niece Treva Zoe has a week eye and wears a patch for about two hours out of a day..so all the kids put a patch on...the kids thought that was the best thing ever!

Garden..

The garden is growing so well!! We have two tomatoes...and one strawberry...I can't wait for the rest to come in...I am more excited that I have kept this garden alive..I planted to pumpkins by the house close to the sprinklers and they are out of control!...I can't wait to carve them...the agreement is between me and the sis is that I keep it growing and she will teach me to can this year..I can't wait to learn..more so to eat the fruits of our LABOR!

Cowabunga...

We went to Cowabunga Bay for my sisters birthday this year..it was so fun...I sent Molly down one of the kiddies slide..ran down the stairs to catch her and she never came down..I looked up at the life guard and he pointed at the top of the slide..Molly was gripping the sides of the slide with her hands and feet..holding on for dear life! It was so funny...i had to go down the slide to get her down..so silly..buddy LOVES the water..so we sat in the kiddy pool the whole day..so FUN!! I love summer.

Molly's first soccer game was this last saturday...she did so good!! I have to admit she definatley likes practice better..I think because everyone gets a turn and with a game..it's more a moving huddle. After half time to get her to play she had to have her binky in...it was so funny to see her playing with it in...She is so yummy!!

It's great to be three!!

Molly's birthday party was such a BLAST!! We rented a huge water slide..a bounce..house..ate pizza..had yummy cake...and lots and lots of friends..My friend Amy and I had our babies a day apart three years ago and we decided to have a joint birthday party with Jamasen and Molly...I wish I had more pictures to post...Bart and I have agreed to throw the kids a super fun birthday party every year..cause one day their not going to want to hang with us on their birthdays...love you Molly hope you had the best day ever!!

Cadillac...NBD...

Bart every year wants to give Molly the world when it comes to her birthday presents...but instead this year he bought her a escalade...(with some of my persuasion..)..we took her to Toys R Us to pick out anything she wanted...we led her back to the power wheels...I can't believe that she is three!

I graduate May 7, 2010..what an amazing experience to finally be in that seat. I would have to say that it wasn't the best graduation a little unorganized and weird speakers..but none the less it was great! I look like I could eat my children in all the pictures that were taken otherwise I would post more...the BEST part was all my family and friends were able to come..my brother is super busy and it was nice to look up and see his family there...in most situations my family is always there to support me and that means the most!! The other best part is LEATHERBY'S!! I love their ice cream! I always get and have got the Bart's Black and Tan...the best!! I took my NCLEX June 13, 2010 and officially became state certified June 14, 2010. What an amazing feeling...now onto the bigger task...finding a job.

Vacation...

Our vacation was a blast! We dropped the kids off late Sunday night and took the red eye flight out to NYC..we had about an hour lay over then off to Miami...it didn't take to long to board the boat and before we knew it we were setting sail...the first night we slept through our dinner..we were so tired. The following morning we woke up in Key West...we took an island tour and then walked around...we found this hole in the wall Mexican restaurant..it was so GOOD!! We only had short time in Key West...the rest of the day Bart took a nap and I laid out in the sun...we made it to our dinner that night..it wasn't that amazing to me and I felt like it had really weird lighting..the combination of that and the boat I did not feel good. The third day we were able to get off the boat around 1pm in Cozumel..we decided to do an all inclusive shore excursion but shortly after we got there we realized it was real dumb so we grabbed a Taxi and went into town to do some shopping....we found another awesome restaurant there is a picture of a silver platter that looks a mess...it was a platter of yumminess!! We devoured it!! We got back on the boat after some awesome shopping..good food..and a pretty good sunburn! The day traveling back to Miami didn't sit well with me...the only way I felt good was to sleep or be out on the deck with the wind blowing directly on me...it was so windy but Bart was a good champ to sit out there with me. I was glad to be on land once we were able to get off...we did not fly out of Miami to NYC until later that night so we took a tour of the everglades in Florida. It was pretty interesting. Late that night we made it to our hotel room in NYC...we paid a pretty penny for the hotel and Bart was a little confused when we walked into our room..he said, I thought we would have had a nicer room...I kind of just chuckled...we saw the empire state building..statue of liberty..ground zero...china town...time square...walked and walked..and shopped!! I love NY and still do but things are different when you have kids at home...and your whole pay check can't be blown...Bart I think enjoyed it..but I am sure he probably won't ever return.

Our Vacation...

St. George...

We went to St. George a little while ago and went hiking on around the dixie rock...it was fun..looking back buddy was so small...I love St. George. If I knew Bart could get hired on down there I would move in a second.

Camden Quinn

Here are the most recent pictures of my buddy..I can not believe that he is EIGHT months already! He is so squishy! He is out of CONTROL..he thinks he is as big as Molly and sure tries to keep up with her..his poor face is bruised everywhere but it doesn't seem to phase him. He'll start crying..you'll hold for point two seconds then he is off again. I believe that he will be walking before I know it. He pulls himself up and grabs whatever is in sight...we have been swimming a little bit and he loves it..I took the kids the other night and he was asleep by seven and out for the count..I should take him swimming every night.

Six Months!!

I had the kids pictures taken for Easter and Cam's six months...here is a sneak peak..I had Lacey take them..I enjoy her very much! She took these at an older home in Draper..I loved that I did not have to drive far...she is offering mini sessions coming up soon...enjoy.

First Day of School...

I can't believe that Molly has started preschool...Molly has wanted to play with friends everyday, so I decided to see if we couldn't get her into this cute little preschool just around the corner form us, Teacher Heather said we could try and it...so the first day Bart and I took her, she walked right in and didn't look back..we both hesitated...I told Molly it was time to get ready for school and she came out of her room (with buddy's bottle) and had dressed herself...she is such a ham...the picture of her in her dress is her first day and the second is a day to remember she let me blow dry her hair! This is a fight at the Barton residence to use the blow dryer, her hair is getting so long and so pretty! It was the first day we got to take a big girl back pack too, when I took Molly to pick one out she first picked a tweety bird one..but I persuaded her to get this one..I love her so much. Today when I picked her up I pulled in the mom circle..waited in my car..and when I saw her walk out with her hands on the back pack straps like a big girl I got a little choked up...I can't believe how big she is getting..it makes me so proud!
