The other night I went to my ward Christmas Party...gasp..heard round the world..yes I said WARD christmas party...I wanted Molly to see Santa and I know she wasn't going to be pleased with him...so I wasn't going to stand in line at the mall nor pay $30 for a picture..(way to go Jess for doing both..) but the cute primary kids put on a little program..and they asked what gift would you bring to Jesus..? side story..my mom gave me a statue years ago of Santa kneeling in front of baby Jesus...it lights up and I have it in Molly's room..so every night we turn it on and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus..I wish that she could tell me what she would give Jesus for his birthday...so back to my story...what would you give Jesus for his birthday...I would like my answer to be as simple as a hug...oh how my hug would tell him so much, though. I would give him a picture of my family...show him (although he would already know..) my beautiful daughter, my husband that loves me and two big families that mean the world to me...I truly believe that feelings of a higher being are very personal and can mean so many things...but I know that I am loved, thought of, thought after, and truly blessed because of...Jesus's birthday...merry christmas!

I hope you know how much this post has touched my heart honey. Thanks for sharing your feelings.
STINKING CUTE PICTURE!
You should send this picture to Ellen:) It is priceless! Give yourself some credit, we are not surprised or shocked that you would go to a ward party:)
gotta love the scared to death of santa pictures! what a sweet post.
I love that you put it in Molly's room! You are teaching her such wonderful things Annette!! Our ward party is on Friday, and I too am thinking about just taking Ko to go see Santa there, instead of the mall. We should all try to get together while Jessica is in town!
Poor Molly! That will be really funny in the future (even though it is pretty funny now!)
Hi Annette, I just ran across the comment you left on my blog tonight. Sorry if you left it a little bit ago. Anyway, my studio is in Magna at 3500 So. 8400 W, and we will take them when they will trun three during that dance session (We'll enroll them in September if they have a fall birthday, and in January if they have a spring birthday). Your little one would be a CUTE little dancer. She's a cutie!!! Enjoy your break from school. See you in a couple of weeks. :)

What a classic picture!!! I'm putting all of mine together with my christmas stuff. It's so fun to look back and see how much they have grown and yet still don't like Santa!!!
What I want to know is if Bart went with you??? Molly's pic is so cute. They either love the big guy or a scared to death of him !!
