ChRiStMaS...
What a whirlwind of a couple months..I feel like I have been snooping on everyone elses blog but doing nothing with ours...we had a great christmas...Molly was super excited when she saw all the toys and played with everything...we were at my parents..Bart's parents..and of course she was spoiled rotten...I had the tree down ASAP and it was so refreshing to get our house back to it's simple form...Bart slept next to me eight times in Decemeber..there was a lot of overtime out at work so we ate it up...I was super lonely but the paycheck was NICE! So who is excited to start their taxes?? To some it may be a dreaded time but we usually (knock on wood) get a good tax return...we are going to pay off our carpet...so nothing to exciting but a relief to get that bill paid off...I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and was able to see the family that we all so truely LOVE...

Holding it...

How is that we as adults are potty trained? What is it that makes us hold it in? Ok..I know the medical reasons..I think? And what is so scary about a toilet? The infamous little blue seat sits in front of the tv..she may sit on it whenever she wants...I offer reading material..treats...money...and one more question..if she can hold it long enough for me to put on a diaper..is she potty trained...and just smarter than her mommas??

found napkins...with something special on them..

Dear Molly Ann-
It is the night before I am going to the hospital to deliver you...I am sitting here alone, your dad is at work...I wonder what he is thinking about right now. I would be lying if I didn't say that I wasn't nervous...all I can think about is seeing you..seeing your face..I am so happy that this day is finally here. I hope that you come early so I can see your pretty face...know that I love you and can't wait to see you..

Dear Molly Ann-
You came into our lives today! It is late right now, I just had our cute nurse take you to the nursery..dad went home to sleep...and all I can think about is you...we waited all day for you to come...Dr. England broke my water at 8am...I was dilated to an eight by noon..and got an epidural about a half hour later...you finally decided to come out at 9:43pm at night..what I imagined to be so scary was surprisingly a really special experience...it was very calming to have just myself, your dad, and the cute nurse in the room...the Dr. made it minutes before you came and then it seemed like such a rush of people...emotions...and tears. I cried...I was so HAPPY..so SCARED...and so PROUD! What seemed to be a mad house within minutes was very quite and your dad..myself and you were alone...I remember looking at your dad he was just sitting on the edge of the bed looking at you..as I looked up at him..I started to cry..the love that he has for you will never fit into words..know that your dad will always love you and always be there for you..as will I. I can't wait to see your face in the morning...I love you!

Do you know how to??

I drove down to Orem Thursday in the snow storm to test for my CNA certification...I had a skills test and then 100 question written test...I was a little nervous because I have been told that it is a really simple test..so I was trying not to be to confident..the women that tested me with my skills test was alot older than I would have expected..(seventies..?)..she told me to come in and sit down...she reached into her bag and pulled out a bag from 1980 and pulled out a mercury thermometer and told me to read it..excuse me...? I played stupid and told her that we had not been taught how to read a glass thermometer...(then I started thinking..or did we and I wasn't paying attention?)..she then proceeded to lecture me on how all CNA courses teach their students how to read one...so I again playing stupid said..ok..we'll let me look at it...she obviously thought I was taking to long and told me the answer..great missed one..the other 9 minutes that were spent with her were tense but I think I passed...the written was pretty easy..common sense...there were six questions on how to handle dentures...really? Brother..so I say today that it seems you would have to be stupid not to pass...but I may be choking on my words...(I'll let you know when the results are in...)
